With
Hurricane Ivan approaching we must pray for Florida. Here
are two
emails from Ken Malone, our USSPN State Apostolic Coordinator
for that state.
The first includes a prophetic word I gave in Florida in
February, and the
second is a prayer focus sent to intercessors in that state.
Pray that the
Spirit of God begin to move all over that state, and decree
that everything in the
Florida Keys that is ungodly will be uncovered.

Within a month of each other, hurricanes Charley and Frances
have left
Florida in with what newscasters are calling the one-two
punch. This one-two punch
has left us with homes, businesses, churches, and schools
with much
devastation. The Citrus Industry was especially hit very
hard and will be a loss to
many families and those in the citrus business. These hurricanes
made an X
across our state (which criss-crossed in Polk County).
"When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit
of the Lord will lift
up a standard against him and put him to flight--for He will
come like a
rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives." Isaiah
59:19 (Amplified)
I believe that the standard that the Lord is calling Florida
to in this hour
even as hurricane Ivan makes it's way toward Florida is
W-O-R-S-H-I-P.
Last
week, September 2-3, 2004 God called us together in Florida's
capital city,
Tallahassee, for a "Convergence On Tallahassee",
a governmental meeting. On
Thursday, it seemed we could get no where in worship, everyone
was in a
hurricane mode, then God had me go up and begin to shift us
out of the hurricane
mode and into a worship mode. As we did, the heavens shifted
and at that same
time there was a shift in hurricane Frances. The speed of Frances went
from 145 mph to 125 mph. This shift was very significant in that worship in the
heavens weakened this hurricane. God is calling our state to worship in the heavens.
That is why September 22-25, 2004 we are hosting 72 hours of worship in Winter
Haven, Florida, with worship teams coming from across the state, and Kent Henry
leading Florida in worship on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Dutch Sheets was one of our guest speakers and he shared a dream that a
friend of Lou Engle had concerning our state, Florida. In the dream Lou was
shouting, F-O-C-U-S-S! Focus with an extra S. He then shouted, "Florida
-
Ohio - Campuses - Universities - Swing - States." It seems that the Lord
has marked, (X) Florida and Ohio as well. God desires to change the spiritual
landscape of Florida even as the natural landscape has recently been changed
as well.
Prayer Strategies
1. Pray the Lord call the state into worship. Worship the
Lord over Florida.
2. Pray Psalm 91 over the state of Florida, especially as Ivan begins to be
a threat.
3. Cry out RESTORE. But this is a people robbed and plundered; all of them
are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses, they are for prey,
and no one delivers, for plunder and no one says RESTORE." Isaiah 42:22
Below
is part of a prophecy that the Lord released through Chuck
Pierce in February 2004. At this time nearly all of the peninsula
of Florida is experiencing a flood because of hurricane Frances.
Interstate 10 near Lake City, (9/07/04) and a short time
on 9/06/04 Interstate 75 were also flooded and blocked traffic.
Hwy 60 in central Florida was flooded, Manatee county experienced
great flooding, Hillsborough county, Polk County, Orlando,
Tampa, Palm Beach and other areas all experienced flooding.
Many from across the state have been evacuated because of
the flooding in Florida.
TRANSFORMATION AMERICA – Awaken the Nation
CHUCK PIERCE – Thursday, PM (February 19, 2004)
“I am mounting up the waters of breakthrough for this nation. I have
brought you here to this state because part of the mounting up of the waters
is
coming this hour from this particular state. I have gathered you together here
because from this state you will cause the waters to rise again. Many will try
to put their finger in this water just as the boy who tried to hold back the
water stuck his finger in the dike, but I would say this water that is mounting
over this nation cannot be stopped.”
“There is a mounting enemy that is rising up at this time. Therefore I
have
drawn you together for a day such as this. In this place and at this time
I will release an anointing that will cause the enemy that is mounting to
become confused. The voice of the enemy will taunt, and taunt, and taunt again.
The voice of the enemy will become very strong beginning
in September through October. But even now that which
you release in the heavens will begin to
neutralize that which will come forth at harvest time.”
“Harvest time is upon you, and because harvest time is mounting I must
have
a people with a harvest mind. I have brought you here to bring forth the
first fruit of that harvest anointing, and to cause your mind to shift into a
mind of increase. Many have come and said, ‘But the enemy has surrounded
me
and besieged me. I even feel like I am in a strait jacket.’ During these
days I will untie that strait jacket and your hands will go free.”
“Hear the sound as the waters mount up, for the waters are mounting and
the
wall that is being built against My righteousness is cracking. And within 22
months there will be floods across this land.”

In Florida, Patti Michel, public information officer for
Seminole County, agreed with the lieutenant governor
that the danger was not over. Floodwaters, already
a problem, would not reach a peak on the St. Johns
River for another day or two, possibly longer, she
said. "We're an inland county," Michel
said, "but we've got three lakes ... and the St. Johns runs along our border."
Tampa, too, took a hard hit from the rains even though
Frances had slowed down to a tropical storm by the
time it reached the Gulf Coast. Several main streets
were closed by flooding. Ben Nelson, the state's meteorologist,
said it was not a good situation. "Rainfall on Sunday and Monday in west central
Florida has now resulted in major flooding," he said. "And we expect
heavy
rainfalls to continue throughout the northern portion of the state today."
Frances started near Stuart and crept northwest, exiting
into the Gulf near Tampa. Covering a much wider area
than Charley, Frances was also slower, dumping more
than a foot of rain on some parts of the state.
Even when it turned north, hitting Florida for a second
time near St. Marks on the Panhandle, rain and thunderstorm
bands extended far south and east of the storm, continuing
to pound areas already reeling.

Dear Florida Forerunners,
Having come through two hurricanes this summer, both of
which affected our home in Polk county, God has given us
some strategies during this time of recovery and for protection
from Ivan. One of those strategies is WORSHIP WARFARE!
For some time Chuck Pierce has been calling the church
to a new place of
worship. (See his book Worship Warrior.)
As a prayer leader in Florida I want to call the church
in this state to worship the Lord over Florida this
weekend.
Many of you that are worship leaders, prayer coordinators,
pastors, and etc. can help us in the state this Friday,
Saturday, or Sunday., whatever is best for you. If
you could pull together a large or small group to worship
the Lord this weekend I know it will help shift the
heavens over this state. I heard a meteorologist on
Tuesday say, that the atmosphere shifted in the mid
1990's to one that is conducive to hurricanes. This weekend we can shift our
upper atmosphere to one that is conducive to the Lord.
I
will praise You with my whole heart; before the gods I will
sing praises to You. I will worship toward Your holy temple,
and praise Your name...Psalm 138:1-2
Notice
the little g in gods. He is saying to us at this time worship
Me in the face of Charley, Frances, and Ivan, Worship builds
our spirit man, takes us into the Presence of the King, changes
the atmosphere and defeats our enemies before us.
Open up the doors and let the music play let the streets
resound with singing. Songs that bring your joy, songs
that bring your hope, dancers who dance upon injustice.

Worship Strategies...
1.
Place a map of Florida in the Floor and have the worshippers
surround it as, "worshippers standing in the gap." Ezekiel 22:30
2. Take the Florida flag and wave it to the Lord as a wave
offering unto Him. Offer up the state of Florida to
the Lord.
3. Decree Psalm 91 during your time of worship. Decree
that Florida dwells in the secret place of the Most
High and that no evil thing will come nigh your dwelling.
4.
Those of you who have dancers, let them help shift the atmosphere
and dance as David did when the Ark of the Covenant came
into Jerusalem. 2 Samuel
6:13-15

Lift up a joyful shout unto the Lord. "Make a joyful
shout to God all the earth. (Florida) Sing out the honor
of His name; make His praise glorious.
Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your
power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You." Psalm 66:1-2

72 Hours of Worship - Opening the Heavens in Florida
Beginning on the 22nd around 9:00 p.m. we will have worship
teams from across Florida come together to worship the
Lord non-stop for 3 days. On September 24 - 25 Kent Henry
will be leading Florida into the heavens to shift the
course of this state. This is being held in Winter Haven, Florida.
