Key Prophetic Words for Michigan 2005
The following prophetic words are directing words for 2005. Some were spoken during the 2004 strategic blitz, THREE DAYS, THREE CITIES in October 2004; some in January 2005. The war in our state is over sound. There is a clash of sounds that we are facing largely because of the Islamic call to worship that has been loosed over the Detroit area. It is the audible clash of worship structures which represents an even much deeper conflict. I have included a declaration made by a Christian Arab American leader because he released the sound of the Lord on behalf of his people to counteract the false sound.
October 2004—Sound Is Key This Year
Chuck Pierce declared we are a first-fruit people in a place that God has chosen to invade with revival in this nation, from which the clash of sound is erupting: "Don’t look at the enemy’s camp, or how numerous they are. I will reveal to you the enemy’s plan. I will even reveal to the enemy what I’m going to do. I’m putting new weapons in your hands, weapons of sound. Do as I do. Look at Me, listen to Me; when I blow the trumpet and all who are with Me blow the trumpets on every side, like Gideon and his men, shout ‘The sword of the Lord,’(then) break the pitcher and watch the enemy go into confusion.”
You cannot allow a sound from this area to remain un-confronted with God’s covenant sound. You must confront the sound with My sound. Move in God’s right order this year. Move as a troop, not individually this year. You must receive what the Lord is equipping you with. For God has chosen Detroit, Pontiac, and Dearborn (this whole region) to present to this nation the clash of sound.
Angels Are Being Commissioned To This Territory
Dutch Sheets said that angels are being commissioned to move into this territory to begin to war. The Lord of hosts, the captain of the Lord’s hosts, is garnering the heavens with angelic activity. The powers of darkness and the powers of light are about to clash. God has already decreed how it's going to turn out. There's a light coming to those in darkness. The glory of the Lord is going to visit those in darkness and they will see a great light.
A Christian Arab American leader declared: I receive the sound, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I receive tonight the sound, the trumpet of the Lord, the voice of Almighty, I receive it by the power of Holy Spirit tonight that God is sending us into Dearborn to be the witness, to be the tools in His hands. I receive that sound of the Lord, that Dearborn will offer up into the heavens. Dearborn will be invited into the Body of Christ.
January 2005—Release Violent/Radical Praise
Beginning of the Year Meeting in Detroit, Michigan—January 2
This is a year that no longer can we set back and be passive, but we must surround or be surrounded. We must praise violently or violence will overtake us. You have been listed as the most violent city and I want you to know the worst will end up first this year. God is ready to shift this place. He says, "There is praise in my people in this region. They’re going to praise so violently that it changes the whole region". You must have a plundering mentality this year. Because we are meeting in Detroit to start the year off decreeing revelation of 2005 you become the first fruit this region, of grabbing hold of that revelation.
This region and city has a responsibility over what is going on with the strongman, one of the current strongman that represents the anti-Christ force in the entire world.
The Wind of Revival Is Coming From the West
Chuck Pierce prophesied that the wind carrying revival would come into the state from the western side and blow across the state toward Detroit and encompass Detroit.

Prevailing Words Shaping Our State
The word given to the State during the 50 State Tour was that God was giving us back our voice and the keys. This state is on the verge of forming a voice into this nation which will further turn it towards righteousness and justice. We are continuing to pray this word all the way through to its fulfillment.
Part of Detroit’s redemptive identity is as an apostolic city from which war will be waged. It is the ancient war grounds of Native people. It was there that many wars were fought to gain control over the territory. It was also in that area that the French, British and Americans fought for control. Detroit has always been a war grounds to establish power and authority for some people group. Let it arise as God’s apostolic warring generals headquarters from which strategy is formed and wars are won in the Spirit!
Prayer Points and Focus Issues for Michigan
1. Pray that we are faithful to fully release the sound which will overcome the sound of the false worship structure.
2. Pray that we will become a people of such life, light and love that we will overtake the hearts of people captured by false religious structures, capturing their hearts for God.
3. Pray that we will become a first-fruit city (Detroit) and state to release a revival of healing and deliverance. Pray that we are sensitive to hear God’s voice in how we proceed to make this possible.
4. Pray that violent/radical praise will be loosed from Detroit and all across Michigan forming a side which will overtake the sound of violence. Detroit is one of the most violent cities in our nation, as well as a city of worship—Motown and Black Gospel. Let that sound arise in the anointing of God and overtake every other sound!
5. Pray that we will know the time and way to declare prophetically from the port cities. (“Then I hear the Word of the Lord that we will go to the port cities and prophesy over Detroit from there, that God will do His peculiar strange work in Detroit. Once we do that, back off and let it. Don’t try to rearrange it. Let Him begin to do it. Let Him begin to come in here and move in a while new way.")
6. Detroit recently has earned the reputation as the pulse of the Islamic world. Anyone wanting to examine the American Muslim experience looks to Detroit as a model. One of the largest mosques in North America was recently opened in Dearborn.
7. The Upper Peninsula, as well as the northern area of Michigan, is controlled by Native American spirits, although we have been making great headway. Michigan hosts many nations with many gods. God give us the heart that cries out for the one true God through Jesus Christ to be known by all.
8. The thumb area of Michigan is a strong militia anti-Semitic territory. The world chaplain for the Aryan Nations lives just outside of Arenac county above Standish, MI. Pray that we overcome the sound of Haman. Already we have seen great victory in this area but it is not finished yet.
9. The western part of the state has deep roots of hopelessness and poverty mindedness. Religion overwhelms people in shame and lulls them to sleep without their even knowing it.
10. The middle of the Lower Peninsula has both strong Native influence as well as the same spirits that dominate Detroit. But there is great mobilization in this area among pastors and leaders who are raising the sound of worship and intercession.
11. Southwestern Michigan has strong occult roots and is also a major methamphetamine producing area. Again we are taking ground in this area. Pray for a finishing anointing.
12. At the beginning of the year, we prophesied that the pool of Bethesda waters were being released in Detroit and going out across our state. The Great Lakes are at the highest level in 40 years which is a sign that God is getting ready to flood our state with His presence. Let this become a city and state of healing.
Native American Foundations—Council, Resources and Land Curses
Throughout Michigan’s history our people have had the ability to gain, speak and mobilize council. Initially it was Native Americans who used the land for this purpose. Sault Ste. Marie was the council grounds between the eastern portion of Canada and the United States. Along with its people’s ability to mobilize council, Michigan’s land has great resources, is a place of innovation and invention that has influenced the nation and world. Our nation's first factory was built by the Native Americans in Alpena, Michigan. It was mainly a thunderbird god factory. They manufactured and traded icon trinkets from Canada to the western United States and south towards to Florida. This set a precedent for religious spirits being linked with manufacturing, to establish it outside of the presence of the Lord as did Cain.
Michigan is surrounded by key waterways and inland trails which made it a key location for Natives to council and establish trade from our resources. Eventually First Nations people sought to control those resources through war. Over the course of time, conflicts among the First Nations over the land and resources, turning Southeast Michigan into a warring, treacherous, murdering territory. Curses were laid upon the people and land to such a degree that we find these curses active today.
French--British Foundations—Military, Government Headquarters
The French and British interest was in land ownership and profiting through resources in the land. Michigan was key because of its waterway access and land trails that proved to be the fastest and most inexpensive way to penetrate the nation (for ownership and profiteering). To gain control of this northern door to our nation, both the French and British established military and government headquarters to give them an advantage in controlling nations and lands around them. Key leaders of both the British and French in the 18th -19th century repeated the history of Native Americans through the wrongful shedding of blood (murder), aversion to other cultures, dealing treacherously and deceitfully in trade and in gaining control of the land.
During this era, Detroit earned a place of significance. It became the headquarters or center to the Armed Forces of each nation. It was a place from which each nation directed invasions into the Midwest region of the US. By 1805, The Michigan Territory was created. Detroit was designated as the seat of government. Also Detroit was the first city after Washington, DC to pattern itself after the Masonic layout of a city. In 1837, Michigan was admitted to the Union as the 26th state and Detroit served as our first state capitol.
20th Century— Detroit, Ford &Anti-Semitism
In the 20th century, Michigan became a place of invention and innovation which changed the entire nation. Detroit was the birth place and leader of car manufacturing (1908) and became the "Motor City" and automotive capitol of the world. In 1941 automobile plants in the Detroit area were converted for the production of war materials, helping Michigan become known as the "Arsenal of Democracy(1)." Warren, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit) was the center for the production of tanks for the Armed Forces.
These efforts were due to Henry Ford, founder of Ford Automotive. Ford was named the most influential man in the 20th century by the magazine US News and World Report (2). His influence reached beyond car manufacturing to become a major force behind and disseminator of anti-Semitic thought and literature in Michigan as well as the US. He funded the publication and dissemination of anti-Semitic materials in 9 languages. His town, Dearborn, Michigan (under Mayor Hubbard's reign), would not allow Jews or Blacks to live within the city limits. He funded Hitler's efforts for a season (until Hitler began to invade Poland) and influenced the writing of Hitler's book, Mein Kampf. Ford also became a 33rd degree Mason (3) (not by study but by paying to be one) and strongly backed the Masonic order. Ford’s actions strengthened the foundation for anti-Semitism in this state.
Ford’s actions were treacherous for Jews and Blacks, murderous (in the way that he funded and agreed with the killing of Jews), anti-Semitic and deceitful (Dearborn headquarters endorsed Ford Germany supplying Hitler during the war.) It is important to note that Ford's grandson has worked hard to undo his grandfather’s anti-Semitic projects. For instance, he has funded such projects as the Holocaust Museum in Southfield MI.
Detroit, as of 2 years ago, was the most prejudiced city in the nation (4). Greater Detroit now has the largest and most concentrated Arab and Islamic population outside the Middle East (5). Since 9-11 the region has been even more volatile. What occurs in the Mideast strongly affects Detroit through the reaction of Arabic or Islamic people living in Detroit and Dearborn. Detroit experienced the highest population decline in the nation between 2000-2003 (6). Detroit has recently earned the reputation as being the pulse point in the Islamic world and that anyone wanting to examine the American Muslim experience looks to Detroit as a model (7).
Michigan has amongst the highest unemployment rates in the nation (8), the highest death rate in the nation (9) among children younger than 18 (68 percent above the national average) (10) and is considered to be the most violent city in the nation (11). We are struggling financially as well. Recently GM, the world’s biggest automaker, experienced its greatest loss of $1.1 billion since its near financial collapse in 1993. The auto industry is still America's biggest single industry but the output from The Big Three (GM-Ford-Chrysler) does not match those of foreign owned companies (12).
Heaven is About to Sound Forth over Michigan
We are progressing and taking ground in the state. In the beginning of May the regional coordinators and I felt to call the state to a 10 day time of fasting and prayer to break open the heavens over us. The heavens did open in a powerful way during this time. I shared the following with the state before we entered into this time: “The bowls in heaven are full (Rev 8:4) and God is responding with lightning, thunder, earthquakes. Heaven is opening and the sound is that of heaven clashing with earth. There is another sound that will arise out of this opening which will overcome the people of God, leading them into a new encounter. It is the sound of a rushing, mighty wind. We are on the verge of that because of the extent to which heaven is responding to earth with thunder, lightning, earthquakes, wind. With that encounter will come an experience of being overcome by God, and we will be compelled into the highways and bi-ways.
We are in a waiting period. It has been baffling because within that waiting period has been the sense that we cannot do what we have been doing. I declare to you, do not be afraid to wait. The promise of the Father for "this day" is about to be released. When it is released we will see heaven come to earth as we have not seen since Pentecost. For there has a building up to this point spanning many years. God has been restoring the Church, getting us ready for what is about to happen. The government of heaven is about to overcome the government of earth.
What God is getting ready to do is big. And when it comes, and the coming is eminent, the waiting will be worth it. For God has accelerated time and will do much in a short period of time, righting that which is wrong, turning upside down that which has stood up against the most High God.
The waters of the lakes of Michigan are at an all time high. Understand that they are about to overflow. This is prophetic! (Prophet Jim Stevens gave a word about this rising of the waters of the Great Lakes about 3 or 4 years ago.) And when they do, it is a prophetic picture of the extent to which the glory of God is about to visit the earth. God heralded a new era with the sound as of a rushing mighty wind, that came not from earth, but from heaven. Heaven is about to sound forth.
